HOW IT BEGAN
About 130 years ago, the iconic graansilo was used to store barley, wheat and other grains. It is therefore no coincidence that we - together with friends - started developing our first beer here. In 2018 it finally happened. We develop our first beer and name it after where it all started: Graansilo Beer was a fact.
Besides love for beer, we have a huge passion for good food. That is why we completely renovated the graansilo in 2021, so that you can now enjoy delicious flavors, a relaxed atmosphere, and the beautiful views over the Winschoterdiep.
