Because of the possibility to divide the space into smaller stages and our exceptional acoustics, we can host more intimate get togethers starting with 20 people as well as big events up to 800 guests. On top of that, at events including our outside area up until 10.000 people can be accommodated.
On request, EM2 gladly arranges the catering as well. A simple lunch, a luxurious five course meal and everything in between is possible. Additionally, we offer professional lighting, visuals and acoustics.

EM2 is also conveniently reachable for disabled people. The entrance is at ground level and consists of wide doors. The Café area is accessible by a side entrance, which can be easily entered with for example a wheelchair. EM2 is also equipped with a disabled bathroom.

Bus line 8 (city bus) or line 39 towards Surhuisterveen. Exit at the bus stop Atoomweg. Walk towards the gas station and then follow the canal. The entrance is at Energieweg 10, on the other side of the canal, which is reachable by a bridge suited for pedestrians and bikes. Café Area
The Café area is an atmospheric and light space with a separate bar and space for a maximum of 150 people. Because of the way our floor is constructed, this area is perfectly suited to accommodate presentations or gatherings.
Main Area
In the middle of the venue lays the heart of Em2. In the main room you will find a big bar area, suitable for bigger events. Of course, this and the Café area can be booked in combination with each other.
Whole Venue
The whole venue spans an area of 600 m2, easily accommodating 800 people or 450 seated guests.
Outdoor Area
