In the Empire hall, which dates from 1723, is located Restaurant Classique. With its high ceilings and striking chandeliers it creates a classic and nostalgic character. In this restaurant, chef Jasper Mol, serves very special dishes; be surprised by the exclusivity and high quality of the menu. Choose from a 3 to 7 course dinner and complete it with a matching wine package.

Wadapartja simply stands for: 'How very special.' This is what any Groningen resident would say if they walk in somewhere or see something out of the ordinary or something special. And we are! At Wadapartja you can shop, eat and drink during the day and evening. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, homemade sweets and nice snacks & appetizers. One of the typical things about us, everything is for sale. We have a store, but also the tables, lamps, spoons and even the art on the walls is for sale! We find it important that you know what you eat. That's why we use 'Beter Leven *' chicken and eggs, local Porc d'or pork and beef fromout the provence. We also work with a quite some local suppliers, like our Bax beers, biodynamic vegetables from 'Eemstuin', specialty coffee from Koffiestation and sustainable bread from our local baker Luuk. Locally is not so far away! Wadapartja is the place where people come together, are inspired by the experience and everyone is included in their very own way. Everyone is more than welcome! 

You can find our welcoming bistro at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep in the city centre of Groningen. We are looking forward to welcome you for a nice cup of coffee, a good lunch, a tasteful dinner or simply for a good cold beer at our big terrace.

The Grand Café Groningen is located at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep 56 in a stunning 19thcentury building that was once owned by the Steenkolen Handels Vereeniging (coal trading association). Where possible, we use regional and sustainable products, ecological if possible and low in food miles, which is better for people and the environment, and for our beautiful province. We are open 7 days a week for a delicious cup of coffee with homemade cake, a lovely lunch, a high tea, a good glass of wine or a delicious meal. Time Out is a company with history. Since 1976, the Jager family has been welcoming their guests in the Poelestraat in Groningen city centre, which makes Time Out a well known address where people love to return. Eeterie de Globe has a singular location in Groningen behind the Der Aa-Kerk at the Akerkhof ZZ 22 - famous from the Dutch version of Monopoly! De Globe is located in the building of the Humanitas association. Three different and fresh meals are served daily, among which one vegetarian meal. A main meal is ‚¬6.75 or ‚¬7.75. De Globe also provides affordable options for parties and celebrations, both in the evening or afternoon.
